The machine is a Series I V2E3, with a 9x42 table and 2HP vari-speed spindle. The M39S CNC controls the pneumatic spindle speed up/down solenoids and the spindle air brake.
This is a Centroid M39S retrofit to a Bridgeport Series I Boss 10 CNC knee mill, completed by CNC Services Northwest in December 2007.

It is essentially the same as a contemporary M400S cabinet, except that the
control computer is at the upper right, and there is a 24VDC power
supply center left to power the pneumatic solenoids.
